Nathan began studying classical singing and speech and drama in 2002.  In 2003 he was selected to perform the role of ‘The Admiral of the Fleet’ in the Sir Peter Maxwell Davies opera ‘Cinderella’ for the Tasmanian ‘Ten Days on the Island’ festival.

Nathan has had great success in state competitions winning many award certificates for solo, duet, and group performances. He has appeared as a soloist in several ‘Bel Canto Australia’ productions including ‘Showtime’ in 2004.

In 2005 Nathan was selected to perform for the Alexander Production ‘A Mid Summer Opera’ for a season held at  the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney.

Nathan has recently been chosen for the role of ‘Snow Gum’ in the forthcoming ‘Bel Canto Australia’ opera 'Magic Mountain'

in 2006.
