Emilie commenced studying classical singing at age twelve and although only thirteen at present has had great success in competitions in Tasmania and nationally. She holds the most promising student 18 and under prize, thirteen and fourteen years and under prize in Hobart Eisteddfod 2005.

In Clarence Eisteddfod 2005 Emilie won the ‘Joshua Cooper’ memorial trophy, eighteen years and under vocal solo prize, thirteen and fourteen years solo prize.

At the end of 2005 Emilie was selected for the national opera ‘A Mid Summer Opera 2006’ which was produced by Alexander Productions at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.  

Emilie has been selected to perform in the upcoming Bel Canto Australia opera,’  Magic Mountain.
