| Tormey joined Bel Canto Australia in 2002 studying piano. In 2007 she was awarded the Associate of Music (A.Mus) diploma in piano by the AMEB (Australian Music Examination Board). In 2003 Tormey was chosen to perform in the Bel Canto Young Opera production of the Sir Peter Maxwell Davies opera ‘Cinderella’ which was produced as part of the Tasmanian ‘Ten Days on the Island’ festival. Tormey has appeared in several Bel Canto Australia charity concerts for Rotary and Camp Quality. |
